The National Maritime Museum’s volunteer programme is already established and an integral part of the organisation’s work. Now’s your opportunity to take it to the next level as you develop and drive forward this vital area of our business.
We need you to influence thinking both within and outside of the Museum. You will promote volunteering opportunities and strengthen our links with local, national and international communities. Looking internally, your challenges will include working with managers to develop roles that provide a satisfying and enriching experience.
With proven experience of recruiting and managing volunteers, (ideally gained within the cultural or charity sectors), you’ll bring the creativity and communication skills to attract an ever-increasing number of people to the Museum. The ability to connect the needs of the business with those of our volunteers is also essential.
